Request a quoteOverview
The CFG-14D and CFG-12D are microhematocrit centrifuges for spinning capillary tubes, with a rotor holding 24 capillaries. Both reach 12000 rpm and a maximum RCF of 13680 ×g using maintenance-free brushless DC motors and LCD displays.
The CFG-14D covers 200 to 12000 rpm in 10 rpm steps with ±20 rpm accuracy and run times from 30 seconds to 99 minutes or continuous. It adds speed/RCF switching, a short-time pulse run, an audible alert, overspeed and over-temperature detection, automatic internal diagnosis and automatic rotor identification, with 30-second acceleration and braking.
The CFG-12D is the simpler model, covering 500 to 12000 rpm in 100 rpm steps with run times from 10 seconds to 99 minutes or continuous and a door interlock. Both units are compact at 280 × 364 mm, weighing 10.5 kg and 8.5 kg.
